Windows 10 is coming to Sheridan’s Administrative Users! If you are in an Admin area and are expecting new hardware, you can also expect that machine to be running Windows 10. In preparation, IT Services will connect with your department to assess your readiness. For example, you may be asked if there is any special software that you use. They will then work with your department to have your equipment in place with minimal disruption. If you are a VDI Admin User, we will be offering you a Windows 10 option on your machine for testing in the coming weeks.
IT Services has been rolling out the Windows 10 operating system across Sheridan College for students, in teaching and learning spaces and upon request for faculty and staff for supported hardware over the past two years. Some Admin Users have already been working with IT Services and Asset Management on getting their new machine running Windows 10. And so far, the feedback has been awesome!
