Software applications used by students, faculty and staff on Sheridan and personal devices are now easily available through our new web-based portal.
1. Why AppsAnywhere?
AppsAnywhere provides all Sheridan students and employees with an easy-to-use web portal for accessing software on demand through a web browser.
2. How do I access AppsAnywhere?
Simply visit apps.sheridancollege.ca and log in with your Sheridan credentials and follow the instructions. In the future when logging in with your device, you will be greeted by the AppsAnywhere pop-up window.
3. What web browsers are supported by AppsAnywhere?
AppsAnywhere works with recent versions of Internet Explorer, Edge, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. All other browsers that conform to standard web protocols will work too.
4. Does AppsAnywhere work offline?
Yes, but software will need to be pre-loaded online before using it offline. Work can also be saved as it normally would be either locally or online.
5. What software is available from AppsAnywhere?
Software available to students is specific to programs, courses and classes. Access may be on a term-to-term basis and sometimes there is a limit to the number of computers you can run the software on simultaneously. Software for all Sheridan employees is also available on AppsAnywhere.
